Numerical Essays on Classical Keller Segel Equations
Resumen
We present a systematic suite of numerical tests recently developed for the classical Keller-Segel equations on chemotaxis. Specifically, we review some time schemes from the point of view of energy-stability. Then we use FreeFem++ and Libmesh libraries to implement a set of experiments for different finite element space discretizations, including Lagrange, Bernstein and high order Lobatto hierarchical familes. Parallel high performance computing is explored and different indicators are studied, including energy, positivity and blow-up, obtaining some conclusions
