It also participates in the Doctoral Program in Chemistry of the University of Seville.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department has a large number of Teaching and Research <a href=\"https:\/\/departamento.us.es\/depquiorg\/personal\/\">Staff<\/a> who are supported in their work by Administration and Services staff and Laboratory Technicians. It also has a large number of researchers, both predoctoral and postdoctoral and visiting, who are organized into different Research Groups (<a href=\"https:\/\/departamento.us.es\/depquiorg\/investigacion\/sintesis-estereoselectiva-fqm-263\/\">FQM-263<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/departamento.us.es\/depquiorg\/investigacion\/productos-naturales-polisacaridos-y-oligosacaridos-bio-135\/\">BIO-135<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/departamento.us.es\/depquiorg\/investigacion\/quimica-de-biomoleculas-y-analogos-fqm-345\/\">FQM-345<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/departamento.us.es\/depquiorg\/investigacion\/quimica-bioorganica-de-carbohidratos-fqm-308\/\">FQM-308<\/a> y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/departamento.us.es\/depquiorg\/investigacion\/quimica-fina-de-carbohidratos-fqm-134\/\">FQM-134<\/a>).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research activity of the Department is intense and of high quality, comprising leading lines of research in the field of Organic Chemistry related to bio-organic chemistry, biocatalysis, green chemistry, synthesis, structural determination
