Profile
Inmaculada Casas-Delgado has an international PhD in Communication. She specialized in History of Communication and her research interests focus on popular literature in 18th and 19th century Spain. She also made a significant contribution to reappraise the Fondo Hazañas collection. She was Head of the Presidential Cabinet of the Audiovisual Council of Andalusia (2019-2022). Among her numerous publications on these topics, her books Romances con acento andaluz. El éxito de la prensa popular (1750-1850) (2012) y La prensa según Lisardo, el Estudiante. Testimonios noticieros en el Fondo Hazañas (2019)were awarded local and regional prizes. She made research stays at the the University of Cambridge, the Center for Human and Social Sciences of the CSIC in Madrid and at the Cambridge University Library.
